When selecting a Scuba Diving Wet Suit, the most important thing is what temperature the water will be. That will determine how thick the suit material needs to be. There are full body and half body suits and some have different thickness in the arms & legs than for the torso. For colder water you can get a suit that puts a glue on the seams that keeps the warm water inside from transfering with the cold water outside. You can also find a suit with better quality wrist and leg seals. This will also prevent the transfer of water from inside the suit.
