Scuba Tanks

In 1945, Jeaques Cousteau invented the Self-Contained Underwater Breating Aperatus which we now know as: SCUBA.

The science of underwater breathing has evolved since then, and the air tanks you buy today have very little resemblance to those Mr. Cousteau used in his day.

When using this type of equipment, it is important that you understand how the equipment works and how you should use it to be safe. If something malfunctions on a dive, you must not panic. The more informed you are, the better you will be able to handle such emergency situations.

Obtaining a scuba diving certificate is required in most places before you can purchase air to have your tanks filled.
